A misty day out when visiting the area around Monmouth and Chepstow.The river was very mirror like at a few places I stopped at.Tintern Abbey can just be seen beyond the bridge.

The road winds down to the picturesque village of Piesport; on the left side of the picture is the old village with cobblestone roads and traditional architecture, and on the right side the new part of the village.
Wine from the area can be tried-- and drunken --in many vineyards and restaurants.
There is no hurry. We shall get there someday

This is Happy Isles Bridge 😊 One of a handful of bridges in Yosemite NP, and at one of only a few spots where the Merced River was still.

Actually quite a sizeable river for the Lake District. Flows into Derwent Water just to the north of this spot and ultimately into the Irish Sea at Workington
I was amazed at the number or hippos and elephants in and around the Zambezi River. Elephants were abundant in general and often were often taking advantage of the fine dining in the river. I liked the way the backlight was hitting the vegetation as the elephant swung it around, I assume to clean it up a bit before swallowing. (Loxodonta africana) (Sony a9iii, 70-200 f/4 lens @ f/6.3, 100mm, 1/2000 second, ISO 800).
The Gros Ventre River (pronounced GROW-VAUNT) is a 74.6-mile-long (120.1 km) tributary of the Snake River in the state of Wyoming, USA. During its short course, the river flows to the east, north, west, then southwest. It rises in the Gros Ventre Wilderness in western Wyoming, and joins the Snake River in Jackson .
A very cold snowy day on and off, but great for exploring and photographing this beautiful place near Grand Teton National Park.
