LGTM on the glance, probably worth adding a test to make sure we call the setsockopt on platforms where it's supported?
The codepath for setting the interface is currently uncovered and I can see a test having to get fairly low level and OS specific. Presumably the OS has to have multiple interfaces for the test to work? (will merge for now and continue the conversation) |
Fair enough. The test could cover that the setsockopt is being called on wanted platforms when the interface is defined, but it's not a big deal. |
