This A3 monoprint was part of a self portrait project which considered the activity of washing. I used a photo of myself with wet hair taken from above. I chose this photo because the angle distorted my face which I found interesting. I like the print because of the textural quality created with the ink. I also think the composition is unusual because of the empty space on the left.
I think she picture meets the project goals because it really shows Norah's personality. She is a little girl full of joy and laughter and this picture clearly shows that. I think that I did well focusing on on her but keeping her foot and the background out if focus. I would have changed the background if I could have. I think this is a unique photo that has good lighting. I really like this photo a lot.
