A pink flower spotted somewhere in Athens, Texas.

Magnolias are such beautiful flowers and yet the window of opportunity to catch them in all their glory is very narrow. It's not a great shot but one of the better ones I was able to get, not least because of the breeze.

The sky is the background so no blue sky here today........

Can you tell I love pink? Yep. I do. And these carnations were the most PERFECT shade of pink. Seriously. I'd never seen them in this perfect shade ever in my life. Or maybe I just never looked or noticed them. They look beautiful on my end table. On MY side of the bed. They get hit by the most beautiful sun light during the day. I just rearranged the furntire in our bedroom a few days ago and am LOVING the way the sun hits everything now. =)

Kind of refreshing too. This is another one of the shots I took on the day I took this one. =)
