My WordPress journey didn’t start in college or with personal projects , it truly began at my first company right after my BTech graduation. I was placed as a junior developer, full of excitement and uncertainty, not entirely sure which direction my career would take.
During those early days, I was introduced to WordPress , a tool that seemed simple at first, just a CMS to build websites. But the more I explored it, the more it opened up. Hooks, themes, plugins, templates, custom fields , everything felt like a puzzle I wanted to solve. Each new discovery pushed me deeper, and before I knew it, I wasn’t just working with WordPress , I was enjoying it, learning it, and slowly falling in love with what it could do.
From converting designs into themes to building full websites, debugging late into the night, and shipping real projects for real clients, WordPress shaped me into the developer I am today. What started as a job soon turned into passion. I began experimenting, learning advanced workflows, exploring performance, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, cloud hosting — and WordPress became the foundation for all of it.
Looking back, that first company wasn’t just the start of my career — it was the beginning of a journey that turned into purpose.
Today, with years of development, deployments, and countless builds behind me, I still carry the same curiosity that I had on day one. WordPress continues to evolve, and so do I , building, learning, improving, and growing with the community that started it all.
