Verena and Mike are professional captains and hydrographers who map the seafloor when they aren’t cruising or delivering boats. Verena’s offshore experience started early, sailing from Germany to San Diego at age 15. Together, they spent two years sailing the Sea of Cortez and Mexico’s Pacific Coast, and have been navigating the Salish Sea on various boats since 2008—including eight years aboard their trawler, Limerick. Most recently, they completed a six-month cruise through the Mediterranean. They document their adventures at PacificSailors.com.
