Brazil will reach peak population by 2042 while India will reach peak population in 2061 at 1.7 billion. By the year 2100, the population numbers for these countries will actually be lower than 2025. China for example will have just 633 million population! This will be less than half that of India. It is 1.5B (India) and 1.4B (China) today.

Frankly, I am not that confident that most Penangites would take the LRT, even those staying along the stations. Stop using Singapore or Hong Kong as a benchmark even if both of them are islands. In Hong Kong, the parking is RM15 per hour, maybe higher depending on locations. It’s similar in Singapore plus the fact the petrol prices for both islands are easily 4 times or higher than Penang. Cars are considered cheap for Hong Kong’s typical salary but cars are super expensive for Singaporeans.

Tropicana Posts RM877.8 Million Revenue In Q3 FY2024

For the financial period ended 30 September 2024, the Group recorded a revenue of RM877.8  million.  Tropicana’s financial position continues to improve, with gross gearing level reduced from 0.74 times as of 31 December 2023 to 0.70 times as of 30 September 2024. The Group’s unbilled sales stood at RM2.3 billion placing the Company in a comfortable  position to deliver sustainable earnings.
