The IORA Centres of Excellence are institutions designated by Member States for strengthening regional cooperation for capacity-building through research, training, and serve as reference centre for IORA in its respective Priority Areas and Cross-Cutting Issues.
The following are the Centres of Excellence of IORA: IORA Blue Carbon Hub, Centre of Excellence on Ocean Sciences and Environment for the Indian Ocean Rim Association and Maritime Institute of Malaysia (MIMA)
