Summary

  • Adds three new scientific research entries (69–71) to docs/scientific-research/documentation.md forming the evidence base for the planned docs/system.md restructure
  • Entry 69: arc42 (Starke & Hruschka, 2022) — ISO 25010-aligned template justifying current-state vs. ADR-log separation
  • Entry 70: Google Design Docs — living snapshot pattern justifying the rewrite-not-append model
  • Entry 71: RFC/Technical Spec pattern — single authoritative reference model confirming single-document approach with git history as audit trail
  • Updates docs/scientific-research/README.md index to include entries 69–71

Context

These entries fill a gap identified during a documentation review: the existing research covered micro-decision logs (entry 55, Nygard ADRs) and visual structure (entry 57, C4 model) but lacked evidence for the "synthesized current-state overview" pattern. Entries 69–71 together provide that evidence base.
