PR summary
In #23485 the consensus was that we should explicitly call out the 3d axis pane which is being hovered over, but somehow that commit didn't get into that PR (see #23485 (comment)). This adds that notation back in.
Adding to the 3.8.0 milestone since that's when the above PR cuts in.
