I guess that makes it impossible for people to override that? Previously they could e.g. inherit Not sure whether it matters in practice, tbh. |

Hmm... actually from PyQt5.QtWidgets import *
from matplotlib import pyplot as plt
plt.figure(facecolor=(1, 0, 0, .5))
QApplication.instance().setStyleSheet(
"QWidget {background-image: url('path/to/image.png')}")
plt.show()also has the figure completely overriding the background image, for reasons not totally clear to me. I have the vague memory of this being mentioned once somewhere, but can't find it right now. |
