Great, I'll had a look at tomorrow (for me).
And damned, I just saw a github ui change between 2 tabs I opened in less than 1sec !

For a time, I was trying git apply --reject to get partial applies. It's not used, currently.

Well apparently the same thing that make requests fail to work with https url touch this PR too so I can't test from where I work.
But as it is really useful I'm going to merge this.
