Dewan Keluarga Besar Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (DKBM UMN) is the highest student organization at UMN, serving as the legislative and judicial body for the students. DKBM UMN was established on January 6, 2011, and consists of representatives from each faculty.
Vision
To establish DKBM Gen-XVI as a proactive, accountable, and adaptive legislative and judicial body, acting as a solution-oriented critical partner and a trusted platform for the aspirations of the entire UMN student community.
Mission
Advocacy: Conducting advocacy and proactively voicing student aspirations while serving as a bridge for communication with the university administration.
Oversight: Strengthening critical oversight to ensure organizational accountability and transparency.
Innovation: Designing innovative and relevant work programs for student empowerment and character development.
Partnership: Building collaborative and synergistic partnerships with the entire UMN student community.
Governance: Implementing professional, adaptive, and inclusive internal governance within DKBM in its decision-making processes.

DKBM Muda
ActivitiesRecruit, select, and inaugurate D-Mud internally with the signature on the letter of agreement and the giving of D-Mud member card.
GoalTo create high quality member candidates for the next generation of DKBM or any other student organizations.
Student Aspiration Week
Activities- Hold a focus group discussion (FGD) or an open discussion forum with the students

To introduce DKBM to the students of Universitas Multimedia Nusantara and to invite students to discuss problems in their campus life, as well as strengthening between student and rectorate of Universitas Multimedia Nusantara.
Bincang Hangat
ActivitiesBincang Hangat is an open discussion forum that directly brings students and the university's rectorate together.
Goal- Bridging a connection between student to convey their aspirations to the rectorate

Student General Election
ActivitiesOrganize an integrated series of student election processes, starting from socialization, campaigns, candidate debates, to the voting phase to elect the leaders of student organizations.
GoalTo facilitate a transparent and fair democratic process to elect qualified student leaders to lead student organizations within the UMN environment
Basic Leadership Training
ActivitiesBasic Leadership Training (LDK) activities generally involve group simulations, discussions, and teamwork challenges. Participants directly practice task delegation, collaboration, and effective collective problem-solving..
GoalThe primary goal is to shape participants into independent, decisive, and responsible individuals. This training mentally prepares participants to be more confident and reliable when participating in an organization.
General Assembly
ActivitiesTo hold the highest assembly of student organizations (including DKBM, BEM, Student Associations, UKM, and UKKM) to discuss and approve the Basic Regulations of Student Organizations for the Student Family of Universitas Multimedia Nusantara.
GoalThe main goal is to manage organizational governance to ensure alignment with UMN's Vision and Mission, as well as to support the character and soft skills development of UMN students.
Comparative Study
ActivitiesHold an online discussion with student organizations of other universities and visit student organizations of other universities.
GoalTo develop DKBM performance or come up with innovations by looking for references from other universities, also to build a relationship with other universities.

UMN students who are taking semester 3 or 5, Minimum GPA 2.75, Never been subject to academic/non-academic sanctions, Not serving as a member of the campus media, Join a maximum of 2 organizations, Pass Student Orientation.

What divisions does DKBM have?
DKBM has 5 divisions, namely: BPH division (Daily Management Body), PB division (BEM Supervision), Kesma division (Student welfare), Medkom division (Communication and information media), and Komses division (Succession Commission).

How busy is DKBM?
Sometimes it's busy, sometimes it's not. When approaching a major work program, of course, we will be busy planning and preparing everything. When there are aspirations/cases that come in, we will definitely hold many meetings with various related parties. During the week we usually only hold regular meetings.
