I run HR Web Developers, a web design, development and software engineering studio for small businesses in Tijuana, San Diego and the rest of the US, in English and Spanish. I am also a Software Engineer at Tendril, a US company based in Long Beach, CA, where I have worked since 2023.
I have written software professionally since 2019. Before Tendril I led front-end at Plaeto, a Texas startup, during its early stage (2021 to 2022), and before that I worked at SIIL in Tijuana (2019 to 2021). I studied Systems Engineering at Tecnológico Nacional de México. Off the keyboard, I am a former Elite-category cyclist and I still ride.
Most of my work is TypeScript: Astro and React on the front, Node.js with Express or NestJS on the back, Tailwind CSS, MongoDB and PostgreSQL. I am learning Rust and using it to build Marketplace.city on Rust and PostgreSQL. I work daily with AI coding agents, mainly Claude Code and MCP servers.
