Building a site template and not sure where to begin? At this meetup, we'll hear from Andy Giles (@andyg5000) of Dripyard about lessons learned from developing the Meridian Site template for Drupal CMS. We'll hear what worked, what didn’t, and how we can avoid common pitfalls.
Andy will explore the Drupal Recipes ecosystem, starting with basic usage and moving into advanced strategies for creating scalable, reusable recipes that can be assembled to meet the needs of different site templates.
This talk is based on his presentations from the Florida Drupal Camp 2026 and DrupalCon Chicago 2026.
We will likely also be hearing about experiences from DrupalCon Chicago.
