Most common reasons private repo commits don’t appear on GitHub contributions:

• Commit email doesn’t exactly match a verified email on your GitHub account
• Commits are not on the default branch (main/master) or merged into it
• Commits were never pushed to GitHub
• Repo is a fork or has org restrictions
• Author email differs from committer/account
• GitHub contribution graph hasn’t refreshed yet

Quick checks:

git config user.email
git log --pretty=format:'%h %ae' -5

Make sure:

• the email matches one in

• “Include private contributions” is enabled in
