Short update:

Problem not solved. I have really followed all instructions and tried different ways to upload my official certificate of employment. But (with a few variations) the reply is "We were unfortunately not able to verify your academic status". Is there some bug in the system at the moment? Or what do I do wrong?

Yes, I am facing the exact same issue as well. Please, @github team, fix this. I have applied twice with the correct documentation, but the problem still persists.

Same problem, professor at Uppsala University, Sweden.

Does not work for me either. Last week, it worked for a colleague with the same documentation.
