This usually happens because the benefit update from student to faculty hasn’t fully propagated yet in GitHub systems. Even after re-verification, it can take several days (sometimes up to 1–2 weeks) for your account benefits to refresh. Right now, your account still shows “GitHub Copilot Student”, which means the new faculty benefits (including access to Copilot Pro) haven’t been applied yet. |

Benefit Activation/Waiting
Hi everyone,
I have a question about my status of education benefits. I have reverified myself as faculty (I was identified as student before) six days ago. However, my GitHub Copilot status still says "GitHub Copilot Student is active for your account". I have searched the documents for days and could not find the correct solution.
This is because I want to use Opus 4.6 and I found I have to "upgrade" to Copilot Pro. According to the GitHub Blog, the GitHub Education for teacher should be able to access GitHub Copilot Pro. However, I still not see this model and it still ask me to "upgrade". So I am confused.
