I'm having the same problem. I opened a ticket. I paid two invoices of $24 and $23, and they still charged me $10 (it doesn't make sense), and they canceled my subscription. |

Hello GitHub Support, I noticed that I was charged for two subscriptions on March 19, 2026: GitHub Developer Plan - Annual: $48.00 USD I would like to confirm whether these charges are correct and whether I am eligible for a refund for the GitHub Copilot Pro annual subscription. I would like to clarify that these are two separate billing issues.
1. GitHub Copilot Pro
My Copilot Pro was originally in a free trial period until May 9, 2026. However, there was an unexpected charge/attempted charge before the trial end date, and I want to know why.
2. GitHub Pro / GitHub Developer Plan
This was a separate accidental subscription. I did not intend to purchase GitHub Pro, and I was charged 3.47 USD for it.
So there are two different issues:
- a Copilot Pro charge/question during the trial period
- a separate accidental GitHub Pro charge
I have already opened a GitHub Support ticket for this matter: #4277222.

This is my first time using these GitHub paid products, and I did not fully understand the difference between GitHub Copilot Pro and GitHub Pro when I made the changes.
I would also like to sincerely ask for your understanding. I need this money to continue my development work, and this charge is a real financial burden for me.
