Could be a cool feature to port over, the ability to modify colors and types or borders.

Params to introduce:

• Type (single, dotted, etc)
• Size
• Space
• Color

We have these already within _draw_bounding_line but hard coded. There is a reference impl in the parent repo at pull 326 as well which is nice
