It's probably because the app is not capturing keyboard shortcuts. I recommend checking accessibility permission settings or resetting the permissions database and re-adding the app if nothing else helps. |

Describe the bug
Everything was working fine for many months.
Last night I restarted (no macOS update, AFAIK), and now the "Depends on mouse pointer position" stopped working - regardless of where my mouse pointer is, when I use the keyboard brightness keys, MonitorControl changes brightness only on the built-in monitor.
Steps to reproduce
Expected behavior
The external monitor brightness should change when the mouse pointer is on the external monitor
Anything else?
I tried resetting all settings on MonitorControl - that made no difference.
I tried unplugging and reconnecting the external monitor - made no difference.
