I haven't found this already implemented, and I think it would be quite useful. Mine usecase is

1. When connecting to the external monitor I don't need the internal one anymore, but I still need the camera, mic and speakers, so I don't want to close the lid.
2. One more thing I want it for is the app bar. I want the app bar to be at the bottom of the external monitor but since I have a laptop screen underneath it the app bar always appears on the bottom of the internal screen.
