I've been trying out MonitorControl and while I find the interface a bit confusing, generally it's very nice I don't have to manually adjust my external display brightness every time a cloud goes over the sun or vice versa.

However, the external monitor is not synced very accurately to the native one. Like I wrote in another thread (#1162) not all modern monitors support DDC on Mac and so I happen to have to use the gamma tables approach for mine. But there doesn't seem to be any scale mapping curve functionality when using the gamma tables method? At least I see no effect.

I hope this can be implemented.

By the way, I would suggest hiding settings that are not currently applicable to decrease confusion over the interface. So when "Use hardware DDC control" is disabled, couldn't all DDC-specific parts of the UI be hidden?
