Hi, I just installed the newest version and the controller are working but, when I set the brightness to the max the led display doesn't rich the highest brightness that it have and the result are pretty dark. |

Hi @n0rt0nthec4t - we will see, it depends on contributions. I have an open PR to add support for M2 Pro Macs, it would make sense to produce a new binary with that change included + there are some translation updates as well. But aside from that, the current version seems fine. The team came to the conclusion that the original vision for MonitorControl is pretty much covered (or even exceeded in complexity) by the current feature set, adding more stuff would be counter-productive. But of course code contributions are still welcome! Note: you can try BetterDisplay as well if you want more features, that's a "no constraints" app where I implement every idea I have time for and seems at least remotely useful. :) |

MonitorControl should work fine with Sonoma (I think). I'd challange however the issue of "simplicity of MonitorControl vs BetterDisplay" as it comes up from time-to-time. :) BetterDisplay 2.x's SwiftUI rewrite looks rather nice I think and in terms of simplicity of menu presentation there's not much difference (obviously you can unfold BetterDisplay to be much more complex): 
But for sure this is a matter of preference, I like them both (since MonitorControl's current UI is also mostly my work, it would be strange of me to say it's not nice. :)). |
