Tim Mohan brings decades of global leadership to the new role, with a unique combination of standard-setting, executive leadership and environmental expertise across the public and private sectors. He will join GHG Protocol by June 1st.

Submit Feedback: Actions and Market Instruments (AMI) Request for Information Due May 31 

The basis for the Request for Information is a White Paper, which proposes the introduction of a multi-statement accounting and reporting structure for GHG reports. This structure addresses a broader question about how impact is recognized alongside inventory, including but not limited to the topics under consideration in the scope 2 revisions.

ISO and GHG Protocol Finalize Joint Working Group to Develop Product Accounting Standard 

We are pleased to announce the GHG Protocol members of the Joint Working Group (JWG) dedicated to supporting the development of an updated and harmonized product-level GHG accounting standard with ISO.

Recording Now Available: ISO-GHG Protocol Product-level Accounting Webinar

On April 24, ISO and GHG Protocol hosted the second webinar in the COP Action Agenda series on harmonizing global carbon accounting standards, with a focus on product-level accounting. As climate-related trade measures expand, including carbon border adjustment mechanisms (CBAM), consistent product-level methodologies are more important than ever.
