I've used them all, free and paid - video editing apps. I do not normally write reviews, I just give star ratings but VN and the Ubiquity team deserves a review and a compliment. This FREE app, yes truly 100% FREE has everything and in some cases even more than any professional video editing app. What makes this app very unique is the time it takes to render large videos, it's very fast. I absolutely cannot find one thing that I would like to be changed. This app is for beginners right through to professionals. I’ve been using VN for a year and it’s honestly the best free video editor available and honestly is better than most editors that require payments. One issue I have is with the space the projects take in the recent update. Before a ten minute project would 2-7 gb. Immediately after the new update they take more space. A one minute project now taking 2gb and I have not changed how I edit. As a mobile user storage space is limited and I hope it can be fixed. Either than that this editor is perfect!

Ok so this app does have subscriptions but its not needed if you gonna make basic edits it has some extra stuff for a basic edit to be honest the subscription is just a donation at this point most of the things is very cool behind the subscription but its not needed to make a masterpiece but do get it since they did a hella good job for us im getting it because i wanna support them
Love the app- struggle with auto captions

I absolutely love VN and use it for all my phone video editing. However I find the auto caption function super buggy. Easy enough to auto generate the captions but when you go in to batch edit or edit mode it never saves the edits made (after you press done) and just puts ‘Input Title’ on the bit of subtitle you tried to edit. I’m really struggling with this and would love some app support to try fix this issue. Unless there is an easy fix for this?
1. BeatsClips now allows leaving segments unfilled
2. Moved Denoise to a dedicated entry in the bottom toolbar
