I’ve tried several notetaking apps, however there aren’t any like this one. It may seem complicated to use at first, but once you get used to it, it really is the best app to taking down your notes.With its mind-mapping feature integrated in the app, it’s so easy and intuitive to look back at all your highlights, just a click away and it brings you back to where all the highlighted sentences were.And it also gather all the highlighted notes in a place, which makes it super easy to organise your notes, search for your notes or even to review and study.I recently came to know that it has the ability to load extension / plugin, which further extended the usage of this godly app, I spent about 1 hour to get to understand the app, what it does and what i was paying for. And after went through that, I immediately paid for the full version not only for the app, also to show my gratitude and support.
BEWARE! No windows version!

It does what it does, awesome app, yes. But if u don’t have a mac, your marginnote usage will be limited to only a small ipad. You will have to transfer and do ALL marginnote related work on ipad. Having to keep and organize all the files in an ipad, it will get troublesome when you got more files. Also, its file format and annotations is propriety and not in pdf format, making it hard to transfer and edit elsewhere for the annotations. This means you are stuck with marginnote, where if your laptop is windows, you can’t annotate there at all (unless you are willing to have separate file for the same document, where annotations on windows desktop can’t be synced with those on ipad). You have to cumbersomely transfer everything manually to your ipad.So you need a mac, or you need a real big ipad screen with good processing speed, (cause when the mindmap becomes large, small screen = hard to edit and organize) (and when files accumulate, due to work all having to be done on ipad, it WILL LAG a lot).To developer: Please, this app is godly. You are losing out a lot of customers and market by not building a windows alternative.

Hello, for the development of other platforms, we will do it as soon as we have the energy. Now, the product is in the stage of exploration and improvement, and the function is still in high-speed iteration, or even rewriting some modules. To strive for user stickiness and create a good user experience is still our first concern. Promotion and cross platform will not be considered until the stable stage,
Hopefully Rotate Page Feature for PDF can be added!

Overally, the using experience of this app is excellent. However, this app does not support Rotate Page Feature for PDF file which is commonly available in most note-taking app. It would be very helpful if this feature is added on the next update.
