Boost past rivals in multiplayer matchups or tackle time trials where it’s just you, the clock and plenty of treacherous turns. You can even connect gamepads for local split-screen races – and take trash-talking to a new level.

What we love: The slick visuals. Garbage looks great in each wildly detailed track, from a car cemetery dotted with rusting hulks to a scrap heap of giant neon casino signs. Don’t brake to check out the graffiti, though – the competition doesn’t slow down!

Quick tip: About halfway through the Container Yard, watch for a line of red and blue shipping containers snaking along the track. Veer left around the obstacle to snag three boost canisters lined up in a row!

Meet the creator: Junkyard Rush Racing was born when the team at Hungary’s isTom Games discovered they shared a passion for ’80s movies and daredevil car stunts. They’re also the makers of Mad Bullets and Nyan Cat: Lost in Space.
