I dont like that when I forward a letter to someone and gmail handles the letter in one flow as it would be the same letter I like muomore the old system when the “new” forwarded letter become a new letter between the participants.Thx
Gmail notifications don’t show up on iPhone 15

I am using an iPhone 15 with the latest software (iOS 26.2). Ever since using this phone for 2,5 years now i am not receiving the new mail notifications with all the available options enabled in the Gmail app and also in my phone’s notification settings. I tried many troubleshooting tips and tricks but unfortunately none of them seemed to work. I am always awaiting a new Gmail update in hope it might solve my problem but still no change in showing up new mail notifications. What should i do?
Refreshes too much often and returns to the main page

If I open an email in the app, or doing a search or whatever, then I switch to another app, then switching back to gmail after a couple of seconds again, gmail refreshes itself and goes back to inbox main page. I lose my previous work state. It’s annoying when I’m in an old mail and because of a very short switch of apps or locking the screen I have to start looking for the email an open it back up again. I’m using the app on iPhone.

The app lacks the option to lock it, so random people can't open it. There are special circumstances when you have to give your phone to someone with your passcode (when repearing your phone in a gsm service and they have to test a few things before fixing your phone etc.). Locking gmail with a finger print would be great. Please give us the option to do that, okay? Thanks. Othet than that the app is great and stable.
