You may have heard that a single card deck has more possible combinations than there are atoms in the Milky Way galaxy. For the team behind This Ain’t Even Poker, Ya Joker, this is clearly not enough.
What if you had 10 decks at a time, they ask. What if there were more suits? And what if you could have cards like “2 & 3 & 4 of Spades & Clubs & Hearts & Diamonds”? The answer is, you get a uniquely entertaining and challenging card game about escaping an evil jester who’s trying to trap you inside his world.
Just keep playing
At its core, this is an idle game: cards flip themselves and, although you have control over which cards are in your deck, the game largely plays itself. After flipping one card, things ramp up quickly and you’ll soon be launching expeditions to upgrade your cards, merge them or destroy the ones you don’t need.

The object of all this is to upgrade your deck, unlocking new combinations like three pairs, seven of a kind (seven sevens, for example) and other arrangements that would be impossible in a traditional game of poker.
Level up your skills
Your deck-building skills are just the start here, as your cards can also acquire skills – which is where the runes come into play. Exchange your runes for skills that deal damage every time you flip a compatible card, cast damage-over-time abilities and continue fixing the deck to maximise your output – both in terms of damage and gold.

The ultimate goal is to keep performing these seemingly puny card tricks until you amass one billion points of damage to deal to the jester.
Enjoy the chaos
As the name suggests, This Ain’t Even Poker, Ya Joker is less about the poker and more about the visual mayhem that inevitably ensues onscreen as you get to the latter stages.
Along the way, sit back and enjoy the show as you attempt to thwart the jester’s wicked plan – and maybe try to beat our record of 70.6 septillion gold in a single hand.
