Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal play for the title.
Paris Saint-Germain aim to defend their UEFA Champions League title against Arsenal in what promises to be one of the most thrilling finals in the competition’s history.
As current holders, the French champions arrive at this grand occasion in peak form following an impressive win against Bayern Munich in the semi-final.
Arsenal’s remarkable story continues in a pivotal season. This is their second Champions League final – their first since 2006 – and they’ve achieved this by being the only unbeaten team in the entire competition. But Mikel Arteta’s solid defence will be put to the test against this season’s highest-scoring team.
This year is also special because it marks only the fifth time in Champions League history that two managers from the same country have faced off in the final. And as well as being Spaniards, Luis Enrique, leading PSG, and Arsenal’s Arteta can both trace their football roots back to another super club, FC Barcelona.
