There is some other stuff in the Python Scientific Lecture Notes which might be of interest for the Python Guide, for example the chapter on interfacing with C: http://scipy-lectures.github.com/advanced/interfacing_with_c/interfacing_with_c.html Although, perhaps this goes beyond the needs of "regular" python, since it deals with the possibilities to interface with Numpy arrays too. |

Thanks! Hmmm, can you do a rebase so i can merge? |
In general, when people speak about scientific Python, the mention the trinity of Numpy, Scipy and Matplotlib.
If the introduction mentions Numpy, Scipy and then Matplotlib -- they should appear in that order in the 'Libraries' section.
Also add a short section introduction about the purpose of this section.

Seems like @gurpinars had the same idea about including the python scientific lecture notes, hence the merge-conflict. Anyway, I rebased onto master, merge should be possible now. |

Originally I had just planned to link in the Python Scientific Lecture Notes, but i couldn't resist some additional tweaking while I was there.
