Adding a QSettings-backed toggle for the message, such as "Do not show this again", and a top bar toggle.
It could also be backed by an env variable.
A generic infrastructure for this would be nice as well.
Optionally, honoring Ctrl+C in the Qt event loop would be welcome, though it should be gated/disabled by default to retain current behavior and avoid accidental closing.
